Our dedicated training team have extensive and varied experience in the training field and within emergency services. The team offers excellent customer service, high quality training and after-care.
Following the successful installation of our systems, a comprehensive and customer focused training programme is delivered. Customers can book follow-on training in any specialist area of our software as required.
Trainers visit customers early on in the project to establish business processes and how these will work in conjunction with our systems. A training needs analysis is undertaken with training tailored to customer requirements. Our trainers maintain customer contact and are available for assistance, either remotely or through arranged visits, to provide any further advice, support or training.
Typically, training is carried out at the customer’s site, though alternative near-by locations can be arranged if preferred. We also offer training at our offices in Gosport, Hampshire.
Training is delivered using a dedicated training system, which simulates the ‘live’ environment and allows for incident scenario training - replicating ‘live’ situations including major incidents. This provides students with a ‘safe’, realistic area in which to learn, experience, and explore the system. This also assists in helping students relate their learning to their current role, operational tasks and responsibilities.
INTERNAL TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
We continually develop our employees and personnel have regular Training Reviews as part of their personal development.
Technical and soft skills training is delivered in-house, as well as through third party providers. Fortek also supports employees who wish to gain qualifications to further their area of expertise. This ensures employees have relevant and up to date qualifications in order to perform and deliver a service to our customers of the highest standard.
